The property at a glance

Cooperstown draws baseball families from all over the country. The Cooperstown Experience gives them fields, a place to stay and a place to eat, all on one property.

Built for families

A tournament trip the whole family looks forward to

A team trip to Cooperstown is a family trip. Parents, brothers and sisters, and grandparents come along too. The plan puts everything they need on one property: fields, a place to stay, restaurants, an arcade and room to relax between games.

Teams already book the Clubhouse for team parties, so families are here even before the first tournament field opens.

Built in phases, and already open

Two restaurants and the arcade already bring people to the property. Phase 1 is approved, and site work has started.

Operating

Open today

Fenimore's Table (open year-round), the Cooperstown Clubhouse (reopens spring 2027), a 20-game arcade, wiffle ball fields, lawn games and the courtyard pond deck. You can drive up and see this part working.

Approved, under construction

Phase 1

Three lit synthetic-turf tournament fields, concessions, a welcome center, parking, support buildings and a new turn lane into the property from Route 28. The town's environmental review and the state health department's septic approval are in hand. As of September 2026, fields 1 and 2 are at rough grade, the parking lot behind the Clubhouse is graded, the site septic system is running and the welcome center is being built.

Planned

Phase 2

A 125-room family lodge with a family entertainment center, an arcade and dining, so teams can stay, eat and play on the property.

Planned

Phase 3

Five more synthetic-turf fields, eight in all, so the complex can host larger tournaments.
